I have been with my husband for a little over 7 yrs; we have been married since July 2010 and I have 3 beautiful step-children.
I am an On Location Portrait Photographer in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I am a unique person with a unique eye and I bring those out in your images.
I shoot with a Canon 60D.
Top Ten things you most likely did not know about Heather:
1.
I believe Goofy is grossly neglected. In my humble opinion, he is the greatest
Disney character ever! One of the
proudest moments in my life is when I met him and he kissed my Goofy tattooed
foot. I may or may not have washed that
foot since that proud moment.
2.
I love kids.
I love even more to treat kids as mini-adults. Nothing makes me laugh more than an in-depth
philosophical discussion on the matters of the universe with a three-year old.
3.
I have been told that I swear a lot. I don’t know what the %@#@& they’re
talking about.
4.
I didn’t always want to be a photographer. As a child, I used to lay in the grass,
staring happily at the clouds, and dream of one day becoming….a Juvenile Probation
Officer.
5.
I am such a Dallas Cowboys fan; I will hang up
on Telemarketers if I even hear a Philadelphia accent.
6.
The passing of my Grandmother in 2010 is what
brought photography more into my life. I
have a 16x20 portrait of her that I blew up from a wallet. Her passing made me realize the power of a
loved one’s portrait can have over you.
7.
I
have two half-brothers, two stepbrothers, one adopted brother and two adopted
sisters. When you’ve got this much love
to give, it’s hard to contain not to share it with the world.
8.
I am fiercely protective of my family and
friends. This is great, if you’re a member of my family. If not…well, I can always plead temporary
insanity.
9.
Would you be surprised if I told you I was very
shy?
.10 I don’t pass judgment but I don’t understand non-tattooed people. I don’t mean to, but sometimes I pass them in the market and I can’t help but stare. What were they thinking when they left their palace undecorated like that? It is just a culture I don’t understand. I mean, don’t they realize their decision to not get a tattoo at nineteen years old is something they will have to live with with for the rest of their lives? Do they even think of themselves covered in wrinkles and age spots? I just don’t get it….
