Advice on what to wear for your Session:
These are suggestions on what I have found works well with portraits. Of course this is your session and I want you to be as comfortable as possible. Always remember to dress as you  normally would.

Clothing – Solid colors will flatter; I suggest avoiding Patterns, Logos, Branding, and Designs as it will take away from the important part of the image which is YOU. It is best to wear clothing that is all dark, all medium or all light, everyone should wear similar tones. Beware of Red if this is the color you choose the reds should match. Bring some props to add more to your session.

Portrait Tips for Women:
Fitted tops always look better than loose-fitting clothing.
Wear long sleeves, or at least three-quarter length sleeves.
Layers look great.
When choosing what to wear ensure that you can cross your arms comfortably without the shoulders riding up.

Portrait Tips for Men
The more formal the portrait, the darker your colors should be.
You can get away with light colors for an informal portrait or location shots in the summer.
Do not wear a jacket that is much lighter than what you're wearing underneath it.
Don't be afraid to wear white T-shirts under button-down shirts.
When choosing what to wear ensure that you can cross your arms comfortably without the shoulders riding up.

Portrait Tips for Children
Dress Children in similar tones.
Bright colors and patterns work well on Children but avoid Logos, Designs and Branding type.

Maternity- Dress comfortable. Bring one of your husband’s or boyfriend’s favorite button-up shirts, Little Shoes, Blocks/Scrabble pieces that spell your child’s name or Toys that you have already purchased will be great also!
Newborn-Ensure baby has a full tummy, a clean diaper is a must, have at least 2 outfits, shots with clothing for you and the little one, try an all White or all Black outfit, solid colors. It is also a good idea to bring some Props and Blankets, Wedding or Engagement Rings. Mom and Dad be prepared to be photographed!

Tips for your Session:
Avoid going tanning and hair coloring/cut should be at least a week before your session.
If you wear glasses and will be wearing them during your session I will do my best to avoid glare but some shots may be limited.
Children- Bring snacks, multiple outfits and a favorite toy if you would like.
